Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Simran Kathuria, a therapist-in-training and first-year Master’s student in Mental Health Counseling at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology.
My approach is rooted in humanistic and person-centered therapy, and together we can explore what feels most meaningful to you. This might include CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, somatic practices, existential or spiritual approaches, or other ways that resonate with you. What matters most is creating space to slow down, stay curious, and listen closely to what wants attention. A quote that often carries me through harder seasons is, “Have patience with everything unresolved, and try to love the questions themselves.” I hope our time together can help you find words, reflections, or practices that support you in and beyond our sessions.
Having lived in many corners of the world and moved through my fair share of life’s lessons, I bring curiosity, openness, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I am here to walk alongside you, see the world through your window, and support you as you navigate your journey. Outside of therapy, I love traveling, immersing myself in different cultures, mountains and oceans, and using my hands through pottery, rock climbing, and meaningful time with loved ones. I believe life itself is an adventure, and I look forward to sharing part of yours.
