Affordable Therapy Built For Your Real Life.
The world we live in
The mental health conversation has never been louder, and yet measures of social belonging and emotional health are declining. We are in the middle of a major loneliness epidemic.
Beneath it all, we feel a collective yearning to return to human connection, to social belonging, to community. To having someone be truly present with you.
Sol is where you land.
Sol is built on a single belief: we heal in relationship. We are the caretakers of each other's nervous systems. The research backs this up: feeling truly understood is the strongest predictor of meaningful change.
A therapist at Sol is an anchor. Present with you. A teammate for you. Holding space for the messy and contradictory complexity of being human.
We don't help you avoid what's hard. We help you stay with it, in a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. That is where growth happens.
See How Sol is Changing Lives
"I've tried therapy multiple times to the point where I almost wanted to give up. This time is so different."

Investing In The Next Generation Of Therapists
When therapists are genuinely supported, clients feel it. To change the future of mental health care, you have to start with the people who deliver it.
The mental health gap isn't a demand problem. It's a supply problem. There aren't enough therapists, and the ones entering the field are being burned out before they ever reach licensure: unpaid hours, poor supervision, no community to land in.
Sol is purpose-built to change that. Every therapist on our platform is deeply trained, closely supervised by a licensed clinician, and supported through a training curriculum built around the Sol Care Model.

After several years in the public service sector, serving both federal and local government agencies, my passion for helping others led me back to the field of mental health. This time, with a focus on relational and couples therapy. My goal is to help clients understand how relationships impact our daily lives and provide them with support to better approach the challenges that come about. Family systems therapy, EFT, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and good humor all inform my practice, as I tailor my therapeutic approach to the needs of my clients. Currently, I am completing my Master's in Marriage and Family at Touro University.
Samantha McNamara
Before training as a counselor, I spent years as a private investigator and paralegal, often working with people navigating difficult relationships, abuse, or complex family dynamics. Having experienced similar dynamics in my own life, I know what it can feel like to walk alone and it has shaped the way I show up: practical, grounded, and deeply empathetic. Currently, I am completing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of West Alabama.

My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and fixed in the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen and supported as they move toward healing.

Currently, I am a final year MSW candidate at Walden University.

My path to becoming a therapist began in a surprising place: the aisles of my family's local grocery store. Growing up, I learned the profound impact that simply feeling seen and heard can have on a person, and that deep desire to connect with individuals has guided me ever since. I am passionate about guiding people through life’s difficult periods, whether you are navigating a major transition, coping with loss, or simply seeking more peace and clarity in your daily life. Currently, I am a final year candidate in the Master's in Counseling program at Southwestern College.

I believe therapy is a space where people can feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration, and I aim to create an environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, emotions, and goals at their own pace. My background in school counseling and social work training gives me both practical tools and a strong sense of compassion that I bring into the therapeutic process. Currently, I am a Master's of Social Work candidate at the University of Utah.

Are you a creative, entrepreneur, student or work in a high stress environment? After working the last 15 years as an entrepreneur, I learned first hand the impact living a high-stress live can have on our mental and physical state. I’m a master’s student at Columbia University, and couldn't be more excited to help share what I've learned on my own journey as an entrepreneur, artist, and community-builder in New York City. Hello! My name is Daniel Kanter, and I am a final year candidate at Loyola University's Master's in Social Work Program. If you are struggling with big questions surrounding purpose, reactivity, anxiety, depression, and identity, you have come to the right place.
