👋 About Me

Hi, I'm glad you're here! My name is Samantha and I’m currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of West Alabama and received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Mississippi State. My approach to therapy is person-centered and eclectic — I draw from CBT, DBT, and other modalities depending on what feels most useful for the person sitting across from me.

Before training as a counselor, I spent years as a private investigator and paralegal, often working with people navigating difficult relationships, abuse, or complex family dynamics. Having experienced similar dynamics in my own life, I know what it can feel like to walk alone and it has shaped the way I show up: practical, grounded, and deeply empathetic.

I know therapy can feel overwhelming, especially at first. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore what’s happening in your life and go on this healing journey together.
