Affirming

As an Indigenous, queer, and trans outdoor adventure athlete, deep connection with nature and growth-fostering relationships have been important parts of my journey. I spent my early adulthood in bike shops and punk houses, then followed a winding career path through engineering, business, and leadership before finding my way to counseling. Having lived and worked both within and outside of systems, I bring a deep appreciation for the ways our identities, relationships, and experiences are shaped by social and cultural forces.

I work well with folks who are growth-minded and ready to explore vulnerability within an accepting, connective relationship. My approach is rooted in Relational-Cultural Theory, ecotherapy, and mindfulness, with a dash of humor. I’m especially interested in supporting clients exploring queer and cultural identity, healthy masculinity, relationships and polyamory, navigating risk and growth in outdoor experiences, sleep & restorative practices, and grief.

Outside of therapy, I love running in the forest with my dog and partner, fixing things, making my own adventure gear, and strength training.
