I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as your full self without judgment. My approach is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in meeting people where they are. As a Bronx-based Black and Puerto Rican social work clinician, I value how culture, identity, family, community, and lived experiences shape who we are and how we navigate challenges.
I am especially interested in working with people navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, and feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. My social work background also shapes my belief in looking at the whole person. While formal case management is not the focus of therapy, when appropriate and within my role, I am happy to help clients identify resources and better understand systems that may support their well-being.
My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, supported, and empowered to recognize your strengths and move toward the life you want.
