Hi, I’m Domenica Almeida (she/her) — a therapist-in-training and Master of Social Work student in my final year at the University of Central Florida. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Women & Gender Studies from Florida International University.
I have over three years of experience working with adults facing serious mental health concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, and systemic challenges. My clinical interests include LGBTQIA+ care, immigrant and first-generation experiences, and navigating access to social services.
My approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in cultural humility. I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, empowered, and understood. Whether you're exploring your identity, facing burnout, or adjusting to change, I’m here to support your goals with warmth, insight, and practical tools.
