Stanford Purnell III is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College, and Director of Social Emotional Wellness in Delray Beach, Florida. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Barry University. In addition to his leadership roles, he operates a private practice serving clients across Florida.

Stanford works collaboratively with his clients to establish clear, individualized goals that guide the therapeutic process. Utilizing a client-centered approach, he focuses on meeting clients where they are and empowering them to take an active role in their growth. Certified in Forensic Social Work and trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Stanford brings both clinical expertise and a trauma-informed perspective to his practice.

As a qualified supervisor for social work interns, Stanford integrates micro, mezzo, and macro perspectives to prepare emerging professionals for the complexity of clinical practice.
