I’m David Joyner Jr., an Army veteran and Master of Social Work candidate at Columbia University. At Louisiana Delta Community College, I counseled soldiers and veterans as they navigated educational goals, benefits, community resources, and personal or professional transitions. During my clinical internship at People United Behavioral Health, I expanded my counseling experience through individual and group sessions, biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, safety planning, treatment planning, and psychoeducation.

My style is liad back and free, with a focus on understanding your experiences, recognizing your strengths, and identifying what matters most to you.
