Hey there, I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Alaina, a final-year Ed.S. in Professional Counseling student at Seton Hall University. My background includes working with children, teens, and adolescents in both clinical and school settings.
As a therapist, I view my clients as the experts of their own lives. My role is to walk alongside you, support you through challenges, and help you work toward the changes and goals that matter most to you. I believe everyone is capable of growth and change, but sometimes we need support, guidance, and the right tools to get there, and that’s where I come in.
My approach is eclectic and rooted in person-centered theory, meaning I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and able to show up as your authentic self. I also incorporate techniques from CBT and mindfulness practices to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and core beliefs. Together, we can build insight, strengthen coping skills, and help you engage in a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy exercising, spending time with loved ones, trying new foods and restaurants, and crocheting. I’m currently working on a temperature blanket for 2026!
I truly look forward to meeting and working with you.
