👋 About Me

Difficult. Complicated. Overwhelming. This is what I believe many times life can be. And sometimes there just isn’t anyone in our lives that we can go to who is like-minded or who can be non-judgmental. This is where counseling can be a huge support. It is where I hope that you can find empathy, compassion and ultimately feel heard.

Throughout my own journey, from my college years to mid-life, I've encountered compassionate counselors who have helped me navigate life’s ups and downs. Counseling has enabled me to gain insight into my choices and thoughts, particularly as a first-generation Indian-American woman managing the complexities of two cultures, balancing family and work, and finding what I want out of life through it all.

Drawing on my experiences and training, I hope to help you in your goals by believing in your strengths, understanding your life circumstances, and utilizing a variety of therapeutic methods including creative arts therapies, mindfulness exercises, behavioral activation, and some DBT techniques to best support you.
