It's tough out there. Sometimes we need an "in here". I see therapy as your space where we can work together to stay with the struggle, be present each day, and do what matters. My practice is rooted in the recognition that human experience naturally involves difficult feelings, thoughts, and experiences. At the same time, we can learn, grow, and pursue connection and meaning. Unfortunately, we live in a society which strains our energy, attention, and grit and does not make space for core human needs. That's where I see my role: working together to learn to be where we are, and move towards how we want to show up in our lives.
I work to provide personalized, practical, evidence-based therapy while making space for the fullness of your humanity. I am based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and seek to integrate other experiential, existential, ecological, and social justice perspectives. We can talk about your phone, about our world, about what it means to you to live here and now.
I am a master's student at Rutgers University where my program places focus on affirming approaches to physical and psychiatric disability. I am a researcher with the Climate Psychology Alliance and passionate about helping people with distress related to the "metacrisis". My background includes studies in the humanities and arts and work with nonprofits.
