๐Ÿ‘‹ About Me

I'm honored to be on your side into this brave journey into mental healing!

My name is Sara and I'm currently a Clinical Mental Health masters intern studying at A&M University-Kingsville. Although my journey has just begun, I pride myself on incorporating a multicultural lens into every client I work with. As a first-generation trilingual immigrant, I know exactly what it feels like to exist between cultures and struggle to reach important milestones such as graduation, getting into university, or gaining corporate employment. Through working with marginalized individuals, such as LGBTQ+ communities or minorities, I want to help you address any issues that are preventing you from reaching physical, emotional, and mental peace.

My techniques focus on integrating common techniques such as CBT with a more familial and person-centered focus that takes therapy at your own pace. Through our sessions, I want to work together to create goals that you want to achieve, developed through compassion and understanding from myself. Unlike established therapists, the flexibility of my current status allows me to quickly adapt to any sudden changes you may want to take, to make sure you feel as comfortable as you can be in therapy. For fun, I love to collect music from different countries, and I would love to hear any song recs you may have during sessions!
