Hi there, I'm Sai (she/her)! I’m a Master of Social Work student at Columbia University, and I identify as a trans woman and Indo-Caribbean. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients especially those exploring their gender identity and those seeking a safe space to explore their truth. I have years of experience serving my trans and queer community in NY as a peer and an advocate, so I understand the joys and challenges of transitioning and coming out. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to grow, I’m here to create a safe space for you to navigate a new path forward.

The key processes I value in a therapeutic setting is narrative-building. In session, I prioritize identifying events in their personal histories where we can collaborate to redirect focus from areas of disempowerment to moments of agency and choice while being conscious of the structural barriers that impact those of marginalized genders and identities.
