Reychelle Lagat

Everyone has a story, and what an honor it is to sit with someone to hear about previous chapters or walk with them through current experiences. During my graduate studies for my Master's in Professional Counseling, I have had the honor of working at a K-12 school in the Philippines and with D1 college athletes at Oral Roberts University. Throughout this time, I have seen how presence, warmth, and genuine interest in others go a long way in supporting people navigating mental health, relationships, academics, career development, and life transitions.

Outside of the counseling space, I enjoy reading, writing, being in nature, and traveling, which influences how I approach therapy with narratives, creativity, an open mind, and a multicultural perspective. While my experience includes Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, narrative, artistic, existential, and spiritual techniques could also be used. I believe clients are experts in their own lives, so each journey has its own pace. I look forward to walking with you through yours!
