Hi, I’m Nicole — a future LPC, current therapist-in-training, and someone who knows what it feels like to feel totally stuck and still dream of more.
I didn’t start in the world of mental health. I actually began my career as an accountant after graduating from Rutgers with a degree in Accounting and Finance. From the outside, it looked like I had it all figured out — a stable job, clear direction. But deep down? I felt disconnected, unfulfilled, and honestly, a little lost. It wasn’t until I found myself back in therapy — this time on the other side of the couch — that I realized I had been ignoring what truly mattered: people, purpose, and healing.
So I hit reset. And it turns out, it’s never too late to start again. Now, I help others who feel stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed find their own way forward.
I specialize in working with young adults, college students, and older adults navigating anxiety, identity confusion, depression, self-worth, grief, and major life transitions, amongst other things. I also work with individuals exploring who they are — whether that’s through the lens of culture, relationships, trauma, or simply the deep question of, “Why am I like this?” Together, we look at your patterns, your pain, and your power — all with curiosity and compassion.
I blend person-centered therapy (because your story matters), existentialism (because your meaning matters), and some CBT/DBT skills (because your daily functioning matters too). I believe therapy is a brave and collaborative space — and I’ll meet you there with warmth, honesty, and zero judgment.
Outside of sessions, I’m a creative soul who’s happiest with a good book in one hand and a boarding pass in the other. I love diving into stories, whether it’s fiction, memoir, or the very real narratives we all carry. I’m also a sucker for DIY projects, mental health content, and long walks with my overly dramatic husky.
I care deeply about the people I work with — and if you’re looking for a therapist who will show up with heart, curiosity, and a touch of humor, and you’re ready to explore what healing can look like for you — with someone who truly gets it, I’d love to meet with you!
