👋 About Me

Hello, and welcome! My name is Kirsten Laulainen, and I'm a therapist-in-training here at Sol Health, currently completing my Clinical Mental Health Counseling education through the University of Louisiana Monroe.

I'm passionate about supporting individuals who may feel lost, left out, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life they want to live. I believe therapy is not about "fixing" a person, but about helping people reconnect with their strengths, values, and sense of meaning.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, drawing from narrative therapy, mindfulness, CBT, strengths-based, meaning-making, and solution-focused perspectives. I encourage clients to bring all of themselves into the room with me. I strive to meet people where they are with compassion, honesty, and support. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build confidence in who they are, and feel empowered to move from simply surviving toward truly thriving.

Looking forward to working with you, and making things just a bit brighter!
