My intention is to assist others in embracing both the light and dark we each embody. As an Afro-Caribbean American pursuing my master's degree in social work, I lead with curiosity and finding innovative ways to problem-solve. Through a queer ecofeminist lens, I explore the intersectionality of race, gender, sexuality, our connection to the environment/natural world and transcendence from systemically oppressive paradigms. I am interested in helping folks navigate concerns related to self-esteem, sexual health dis-ease, body image, generational trauma and existentialism around one's identity & purpose.
Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy reading, yoga, music & concert-going, films and exploring alternative healing methods.
I also just really love to make myself laugh & embrace absurdity, finding moments of levity amidst the heaviness!
Navigating our place in the world can be tough. However, through the confusion, you can forge your own path. The people and moments that resonate will meet us along the way. It would be a pleasure to assist you in identifying your concerns and find healthy ways to alchemize and integrate them towards a sense of fulfillment. You are the expert of your life journey, I am simply here as a guide for your self-exploration and the unique ways you can flourish within the human experience.
