Kei Deragon

Hi, I’m Kei, and I’m here to support you in navigating whatever life has thrown your way. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just looking for a space to process and reflect, I’m committed to supporting you in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.

My passion for mental health began while serving as a medic in the U.S. Army, where I had the privilege of supporting service members and veterans. This experience inspired me to pursue a career dedicated to helping others. I hold a BA in Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield and am currently a graduate student at Columbia School of Social Work, working towards my Master’s in Social Work.

I take a holistic approach that considers the whole person and believe therapy is most effective when it’s a collaborative process. Together we will explore the unique interplay of your thoughts, emotions, physical health, and life circumstances to improve your overall sense of wellbeing. You can show up exactly as you are, and together we’ll create a personalized approach that aligns with your needs and goals. For clients who may feel they can’t fully express themselves through words alone, I offer the option to integrate art therapy into our sessions. By tapping into your creative side, we can uncover insights, build self-awareness, and develop a meaningful outlet— and a source of pleasure— beyond our time together.

My areas of focus include trauma, grief, PTSD, C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, and navigating major life changes. Looking ahead, my goal is to open a private practice that includes free community space to consciously create. This space will serve as a hub for group therapy sessions, creative workshops, and opportunities for people to connect with one another across all ages and backgrounds. I believe that fostering community connections can be a powerful form of preventative care, enhancing well-being by encouraging meaningful interactions and reducing isolation.

I’m honored to support you on your journey towards healing, growth, and connection. Let’s work together to create the changes you want to see in yourself.
