👋 About Me

Hi, I’m Kaela, a therapist in training here at Sol Health. I am currently in the final year of my Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Winthrop University in South Carolina.

My professional background includes experience in healthcare as a patient sitter and working within a local crisis stabilization unit. These roles deepened my understanding of the importance of empathy, nonjudgment, and collaborative care when supporting individuals through difficult moments.I believe that at some point in life, everyone experiences times when they don’t feel whole due to various challenges. With the right support and therapeutic approach, I believe healing is possible and that individuals can feel whole again.

My passion for helping others navigate life transitions is what led me to social work and ultimately to Sol Health. In my work with clients, I take a client-centered and empowerment-based approach. I view each client as the expert in their own life and strive to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Together, we work to build coping skills, identify challenges, explore behavior changes, and develop strategies that support your well-being and growth.
