Hi, Iβm Julia! I believe that good therapy is a collaborative process where curiosity and compassion lay the foundation for you to show up entirely as yourself. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and appropriately challenged to explore whatever feels meaningful or important to you.
β
I work from a person-centered, humanistic, and relational lens, while drawing from different approaches based on what feels most helpful for you. My work is always identity-affirming and informed by social justice-oriented frameworks, with an understanding that each person exists within a larger social, cultural, and relational context.
β
I believe our relationships shape how we experience and understand the world, which is why I place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. My goal in working with you is to provide a space where you can better understand yourself and your relationships, while working towards cultivating more safety, authenticity, and fulfillment in your life. I especially enjoy working with people navigating relationships (of all varieties and presentations), life transitions, identity exploration, grief, and truly anything that feels worth exploring for you.
