Do you often feel behind, misunderstood, and ill-equipped to exist in this world as a functioning adult? I hear you. The world we live in today feels like hurdle after hurdle… It's exhausting!
I am a mental health counselor-in-training at Sol Health and I hope to foster a space for you to unload, reset, ground, and feel empowered with the skills and knowledge needed for you to meet life’s challenges to the best of your ability. I aim to help clients facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, and those carrying the heaviness of daily life with modalities rooted in empathy and collaboration, a background in psychodynamic treatment, & CBT/DBT skills. Healing isn’t linear and I value treatment centered around self-compassion, introspection, and autonomy.
A little about me: I am from Michigan and obtained my bachelor’s in psychology from Eastern Michigan University. I am currently working toward my master’s degree from Northwestern…I joke to everyone that I am basically a 20th grader at this point! I love to read, partake in any creative endeavor - despite what my bank account says regarding my hobby-hopping tendencies, and snuggle (albeit sometimes against their will) with my five cats. I am a queer woman and strive to advocate for the LGBTQIA2S+ community in the mental health field. Human rights are for everyone, and therapy is for everyone. I hope to connect with you soon!
