I have worked in Special Education and Adult Education for the last 19 years, providing Assessment and Career Counseling to individuals with disabilities. I have a passion for equality, accessibility, and empowering people to live their best life. I believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, for long-terms needs, or short-term challenges in life. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or life transitions, I would love to be the person you trust to walk you through the process of finding your voice and your power.
I know that we all can engage in negative self-talk, which can lead to negative or overwhelming emotions. These emotions can be the barrier to you acting with purpose, intention, and in line with your values and goals. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy teaches us to use more secure and realistic thoughts to manage our emotions, to support wise decision making.
I would be honored to meet you without judgement, with respect for your cultural and spiritual values and beliefs, and with a trauma-informed sensitivity.
