As someone raised in a military family, I learned to quickly adapt to new places and environments. These experiences have allowed me to appreciate different communities, cultures, and life experiences while valuing my own Hispanic heritage, culture, and identity. I believe our experiences help shape who we are, and how we process them can provide insight into our emotions and behaviors. I feel fortunate to walk alongside clients with diverse backgrounds and experiences as we work toward your meaningful goals.
In therapy, I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques to create a collaborative, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Together, we will work toward healthier daily functioning and long-term growth as you prioritize your mental health. Outside of counseling, I enjoy traveling, concerts, trying new foods, and immersing myself in cultural experiences.
