Hello, and welcome. My name is Honesty, and I am in my final year of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Capella University. I am passionate about helping individuals feel empowered to grow, heal, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness.
My approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, and the belief that emotions can serve as valuable guides rather than obstacles to avoid. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges.
My experience also includes supporting individuals within community mental health settings and working with members of the intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) community. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, my goal is to help you build resilience, recognize your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.
