👋 About Me

I understand all too well how it feels to be caught with ‘Cranes in the Sky’. Whether your “it” be the emotions that seem to demand to be felt or the weight of the world around you, I warmly welcome you to a space that will honor and collaborate with you in confronting those metal clouds.

My name is Hennah, and I am completing my Master’s in the Mental Health Counseling  program at Hunter College. I’ve also received a BA in Psychology with a minor in Social Welfare from the University at Albany. With a passion for liberatory and mental hygiene practices alike, my ultimate goal is to promote accessibility to mental health care for underrepresented communities.

As a therapist-in-training, I support my clients in fostering a deeper sense of security and nurturing their potential for self-actualization. I borrow from the line of thought that therapy should feel “radically affirming and deeply aware of the systems that impact your life”. Thus, I lean towards an Eclectic approach, with foundations in Person-Centered Theory, in an effort to uniquely meet my clients where they are in their journey.
