πŸ‘‹ About Me

Hello all, as a therapist-in-training with a background in forensic psychology, I strive to create a supportive, empathetic space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. As a first-generation immigrant from India and a trilingual speaker of Hindi, Gujarati, and English, I bring a deep appreciation for diverse identities and lived experiences. I take a person centric approach to therapy grounded in empathy, active listening, and cultural sensitivity. My academic training in trauma, family systems, and personality theory has helped me develop a strong foundation for working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I tailor to individual client needs and love supporting first generation immigrants, trauma, and students navigating academic stress and anxiety.

I’m currently in the final year of the MA in Forensic Mental Health Counseling program at John Jay College, where I also earned my BA in Forensic Psychology and International Criminal Justice. Outside of therapy, I enjoy expressing myself through various art forms and baking, which helps me stay grounded and creative.
