Hi! I’m Dene, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Florida International University. My clinical experience has primarily focused on working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, life transitions, and other challenges that can make everyday life feel overwhelming. I also have clinical and research experience related to chronic illness and the connection between mental and physical health.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and conversational. I value creating a space where clients feel comfortable being truly honest with themselves while developing insight, challenging unhelpful patterns, and building practical skills they can use outside of therapy. I view therapy as a space where you remain in control of your own story, while I use my training and experience in psychology to help guide you through emotions, experiences, and patterns with the goal of improving your overall well-being.

My hope is that clients leave our sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves, feeling more capable and confident in navigating their emotions, relationships, and the world around them.
