Dani Bagdasarov

I’m a therapist-in-training and a Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. I’ve worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and identity exploration. I feel deeply honored to support thoughtful, curious clients seeking clarity, connection, and a deeper understanding of themselves. Depending on what feels most helpful to you, I draw from a mix of approaches, including CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, psychodynamic modalities, and more holistic tools like somatic awareness and lifestyle-based supports.

I believe therapy works best when it moves at your pace. My hope is to create a space where you feel grounded enough to explore tough thoughts and feelings, without pressure to perform or “fix” anything right away. I see therapy as a process of uncovering, sometimes slow, sometimes surprising, and one that deserves warmth, honesty, and self-compassion. You can expect someone who shows up with care, curiosity, and the occasional laugh when you need it most.

My passion has always been the connection between emotional health and the body. I’m interested in the brain-gut connection, preventative care, and the ways culture and lived experience shape our inner world. Outside the therapy room, I’m usually cooking something colorful, reading about herbal medicine, or catching up with my favorite people. I’d be honored to be there in your journey to discovering the best version of yourself, and I look forward to meeting you.
