Hi there! I’m Cody, a graduate therapist at Sol Health and a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Midwestern State University. My desire to become a therapist grew from my own experiences with mental health, as well as watching people I care about navigate their own challenges. My experience of being diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in adulthood has shaped my perspective as a neurodivergent therapist, particularly my belief in how meaningful it can be to feel understood and accepted.
I work with young adults and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, stress and burnout, relationships, and life transitions. My approach is primarily person-centered, meaning I see you as the expert on your own life and therapy as a collaborative process. I draw from CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and work toward meaningful change.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy playing the trumpet, playing video games, and going on walks with my dog, Soup. I look forward to getting to know you!
