Chelsea McElya

As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), graduate of Baylor University, and proud veteran, I strive to create a warm, collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. I recognize that every person's story is unique I value working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. My goal is to meet you where you are and partner with you to help you build the life you envision.

I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship and family concerns, life transitions, stress, self-esteem challenges, substance use, and the everyday difficulties that can leave us feeling overwhelmed. Whether you're facing a recent challenge or carrying the weight of past experiences, I believe healing is possible. I am EMDR-trained and tailor treatment using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions. Together, we'll identify the approaches that best fit your unique needs, values, and goals.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you as we build resilience, discover your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling understood, supported, and more confident in your ability to move forward, one step at a time.
