Hi, I'm Alyssa, and I'm glad you're here. Starting therapy takes courage, and I want this to be a space where you can set that weight down, even just for an hour. I hold a mental health counseling degree from Hunter College and have had the privilege of working with clients across many ages and walks of life.
Whether you're tackling anxiety, depression, a difficult transition, relationship struggles, self-esteem, or trauma, I'm committed to walking alongside you. I want you to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely heard in our work together. I take a supportive approach, pulling from CBT and DBT to help you build self-awareness and coping skills that actually stick.
This work isn't easy, and I don't expect you to have it all figured out. I'll meet you where you are. Healing isn't a straight line, and there will be bumps along the way. What I can promise you is that you won't be navigating it alone.
