👋 About Me

Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here! I'm Alexandra, a second year Master's in Mental Health Counseling student at Adams State University.

Choosing to begin therapy is a deeply personal step, and finding the right therapist matters just as much. My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, while also drawing on somatic methods, CBT, family systems, and the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness, and Thought. My style is gentle and compassionate, yet I also offer direct support when it’s needed most. I feel especially called to work with clients navigating anxiety, PTSD, and grief. Together, we can create a space where healing feels not only possible, but within reach.

While this work is centered on you, I want to share that I’m no stranger to life’s harder seasons. My own lived experiences allow me to bring both empathy and practical tools into the therapy room. Guided by the Three Principles, I hold the belief that each of us has innate wisdom, clarity, and resilience within. Sometimes, we just need the right space to reconnect with it.

Outside of therapy, I value staying active and connecting to nature near me! Whether that’s climbing, spending time outdoors, or rescuing animals. These parts of my life help me stay balanced and grounded, which I believe is just as important as every other form of self-care.
