Hi, I’m glad you’re here. My name is Abbi, and I’m completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. I approach therapy with compassion, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. I’m here to walk alongside you as you reconnect and deepen your understanding of yourself.
My work is grounded in person-centered and trauma-informed approaches. I also draw from psychodynamic and existential perspectives to help clients better understand themselves and how past experiences shape the present. I’m passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, relationships, and life transitions.
I have experience with youth, adults, neurodiverse clients, and families impacted by foster care. These experiences help me understand how trauma and systemic challenges affect well-being. I use that understanding to support clients on their mental health journey.
