Susan Richter

Susan Richter is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience providing
psychotherapy across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, colleges,
and private practice. She specializes in evidence-based treatment modalities such as
cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, and acceptance and
commitment therapy.
Susan treats individuals with depression, anxiety, interpersonal/relationship struggles,
life transitions, and trauma. Most recently, she served as the Associate Director of
Counseling & Clinical Operations at Pratt Institute, supporting the mental health needs
of emerging adults.
Susan earned her MSW from New York University and completed advanced training at
the William Alanson White Institute, where she earned a certificate in child and
adolescent psychotherapy. She holds a license to practice in New York state.
