Susan Richter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience providingpsychotherapy across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, colleges,and private practice. She specializes in evidence-based treatment modalities such ascognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, and acceptance andcommitment therapy.
Susan treats individuals with depression, anxiety, interpersonal/relationship struggles,life transitions, and trauma. Most recently, she served as the Associate Director ofCounseling & Clinical Operations at Pratt Institute, supporting the mental health needsof emerging adults.
Susan earned her MSW from New York University and completed advanced training atthe William Alanson White Institute, where she earned a certificate in child andadolescent psychotherapy. She holds a license to practice in New York state.
