Hi there, I’m Yuqi. I’m a second-year master’s student at the Columbia University School of Social Work, currently based in New York.
I’m passionate about supporting young people through life’s challenges, especially with relationships, self-esteem, stress and burnout, women’s issues, and mood concerns. In our work together, my priority is to make sure you feel fully heard, understood, and supported. I strive to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and respectful of who you are. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), humanistic approaches, and mindfulness practices, while always adapting to what works best for you.
I’m also bilingual in English and Mandarin, and my background has shaped my commitment to cultural awareness in my practice. I truly look forward to getting to know you and walking alongside you on your journey.
