Riveé Friedberg

My name is Riveé and I am completing my final year of Touro University Worldwide’s master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I received a BA in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park and an MA from Johns Hopkins University in Global Security Studies and Intelligence.

After several years in the public service sector, serving both federal and local government agencies, my passion for helping others led me back to the field of mental health. This time, with a focus on relational and couples therapy. My goal is to help clients understand how relationships impact our lives on a daily basis and provide them with support to better approach the challenges and stressors that accompany these interactions. Family systems therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and good humor all inform my practice, as I tailor my therapeutic approach to the needs of my clients.

My hope for my clients is that they leave our sessions feeling empowered and equipped with the skills they need to navigate life’s stresses and experiences.
