Life gets overwhelming. It can be more overwhelming when there is no release from this overwhelm. My name is Patty Sibiga (MHC-LP) and my goal is to provide a comfortable, nonjudgemental space to process, give space, and release difficult feelings and experiences and learn strategies to help self regulate and promote growth.
My clinical focus is on exploring childhood and past experiences, processing emotions/feelings/experiences, and creating resilience to move forward more confidently and adaptively. I use psychodynamic practices, somatic work, mindfulness, emotion-focused therapy, and evidence based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. This helps us get to the root of a pattern in your life and build tools that can reframe those patterns.
I have worked with adults who experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, borderline personality disorder, life transitions, and relationship conflicts. My goal for my clients is to leave the therapeutic process with higher confidence, self assurance, self reliance, and with tools to help them process and regulate difficult emotions and experiences.
