👋 About Me

None of us are perfect - we are all doing the best we can. I am here to help you get more mileage out of the gas that you can afford on a day to day basis, and help you acquire long lasting skills to carry with you throughout a lifetime. My name is Lauren, and I am a third-year master's degree candidate in the Mental Health Counseling program at Long Island University. I also received a BA in Psychology at Dominican College.

While I have expertise with a wide variety of client concerns, some of my specific focuses include: women with late diagnosis ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, insomnia, domestic violence/abuse survivors, trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, survivors of narcissistic abuse, and adult children of hoarders.

My therapeutic approach is strongly grounded in CBT, but I typically practice eclectic CBT - which means that while we will stay focused on a practical approach, my ultimate goal is to develop a personalized plan for you.
