Hi, I’m Laura, and I believe you are stronger than you think. My priority is creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard, and where you can come just as you are. My approach is strengths-based and empowerment-focused, and clients describe me as warm, compassionate, and encouraging. I also like to bring a little lightness and humor into the process when it feels right.
I support people through anxiety, stress, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. I’m especially drawn to working with women, children, and those new to therapy, but I welcome anyone looking for a place to feel understood. In sessions, I may integrate mindfulness, movement, CBT, and trauma-informed approaches to meet your needs in helpful, sustainable ways.
With a background in teaching and a degree from the University of South Carolina, I’m currently completing my MSW at Winthrop University. My hope is that our work helps you feel more grounded, confident, and empowered.
