👋 About Me

Hey there! I’m Kristal, a final year candidate in the Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Yeshiva University. I’m drawn to working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, chronic pain, grief, life/career transitions, relationship issues, and the experience of being a first- or second-generation immigrant. I also love supporting sensitive, creative, and self-aware people seeking meaning and deeper self-connection.

My approach is rooted in person-centered and psychodynamic traditions, with influences from Adlerian and mindfulness-based perspectives. We’ll gently explore your past and patterns while honoring the strengths you already carry. In session, I bring warmth, empathy, and a little humor.

As a lifelong creative, I see people as layered and evolving works of art. I’m bilingual (Spanish/English), spiritual, and fascinated by how people grow through adversity. Therapy can be a powerful way to come home to yourself—and I’d be honored to walk with you.
