Hi, I'm Katie. I am a dedicated therapist in training, currently in my final year of a Master's program in Clinical Mental Health at Walden University, specializing in trauma and crisis management. My passion for helping others on their mental health journeys is deeply personal and stems from my experiences as a childhood cancer survivor. I faced the emotional challenges of uncertainty, fear, and the unknown during my treatment. This transformative experience shaped my identity and fueled my desire to support and walk alongside others as they navigate their own challenges and struggles.


I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help shift unhelpful thoughts and build emotional regulation, trauma-informed methods to heal past wounds gently, and mindfulness to foster calm and awareness. Through a humanistic lens, I see you as the expert of your life and tailor therapy to your unique strengths and goals.
