John Crean

Hi there, it's great to meet you! I'm John, a therapist-in-training at Sol Health. I received my B.S. in Psychology from Seton Hall University in 2022 and am currently continuing my education there as a second-year Master’s student in the Mental Health Counseling program. In the past, I have worked in the counseling center at Rutgers University, helping to provide students with guidance around their professional careers and mental health.

My passion for therapy stems from a desire to empower those around me and give them the tools they need to succeed. I want to work with you so that together we can inspire personal growth and create concrete, tangible improvements in whatever issues may be ailing you. Using techniques found in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), existential therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), I seek to help those who work with me find meaning and overcome any challenges they may face. By integrating both mindfulness and cognitive restructuring into my practice, I can give you the tools you need to both succeed and continue to succeed long after therapy has concluded.
