Jessica King

Therapy, to me, is a place where you can be yourself without fear of criticism and begin to feel truly heard. My approach is kind, cooperative, and inquiry-based. I see our work as a supportive partnership where you can recognize and overcome challenges, build on your strengths, and make sense of life’s patterns.

Being born and raised on the Southside of Chicago as an African American woman has shaped who I am. Raised by a single mother, I understand the hardships of parenting without support, and I bring that perspective into my work.

I hope to be the help you need, and that our work together not only deepens your self-understanding but also helps you feel stronger, more connected, and more in control of your life. Therapy isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it—and you won’t be alone in the process.
