Hello, my name is Geralda Saintil, and I am currently in my second year of the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at the University of West Florida. I received my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Bethune-Cookman University in 2016, which laid the foundation for my passion for advocacy, equity, and supporting underserved communities. As a therapist-in-training, I am deeply committed to creating a supportive, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to share, reflect, and grow. My goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges and help you uncover your inner strengths, build resilience, and move toward personal healing and transformation.
In our sessions, we’ll work together to create a plan that reflects your unique needs, values, and goals. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or academic or career-related stress, I believe that lasting progress happens through collaboration, trust, and compassion.
I also hold a foundational understanding of Christianity and welcome clients of all spiritual, cultural, and personal backgrounds. My practice is rooted in inclusivity and cultural humility, and I honor the experiences and identities that shape who you are.
Above all, I’m here to meet you where you are and support you without judgment. Your voice matters, your story is valuable, and your journey deserves to be met with care and respect. I look forward to working together and helping you take meaningful steps toward the life you want to create.
