👋 About Me

Hi, I’m Amy. My career in mental health began as a social worker and case manager, where I supported individuals of all ages and backgrounds. These experiences deepened my desire to understand people’s stories and provide support that fosters lasting healing and growth, which led me to pursue counseling. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and am currently completing a second Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I live in Maine and enjoy hiking, art, and being a mother. My approach is client-centered, focusing on building meaningful, achievable goals together. I draw from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and Gestalt therapy, tailoring sessions to your unique needs. I’m especially passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community, culturally diverse populations, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, adjustment, or anger. Above all, I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel understood and empowered, while uncovering strengths along the way.
