Therapist-in-training

The world can be challenging, but it's also full of opportunities for learning and developing new skills to overcome difficulties. As a therapist-in-training, I'm here to support you in finding a positive path forward. Let's work together to discover your strengths and build a brighter future.

I believe that when we face our challenges and fully understand the patterns of our behaviors and thoughts, we get to know ourselves better. In the exploration process, we can cultivate compassion and build on our strengths, leading to better management of the stresses we encounter. I believe in working collaboratively with you, identifying and exploring patterns of behavior that no longer support your aspirations, and working on shedding old habits that don't serve your best interests.

I have an eclectic strengths-based approach to therapy; each client is unique, and my sessions are uniquely tailored. I use many modalities in my sessions: psychodynamic, cognitive behavior therapy, existential, motivational, and narrative therapy.

I am in the final semester of my master's program at Yeshiva University. I have taught in public schools in New York City and have a master's in education. My experience in teaching allows me to have a unique perspective in understanding the academic pressures many face. In addition, my background in career counseling courses will enable me to be competent in helping you explore your career-related dilemmas. I see myself as someone there to support and encourage you to reach your goals, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
