Diandra Morton

Hello and Welcome! As a counselor-in-training under supervision, I am dedicated to providing supportive, empathetic care while continuing to grow and refine my clinical skills. My interest in becoming a therapist was sparked by a desire to help others and a deep belief in the connection between mental and physical health.

I take a primarily solution-focused approach, integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness practices. I value a collaborative, culturally sensitive, and inclusive process tailored to each client’s unique needs.

I believe therapy is a valuable opportunity to receive support and guidance from a compassionate professional who has your best interests in mind. I see myself as a teammate on your journey—someone who will walk alongside you as you navigate challenges and work toward growth

.I am especially passionate about helping individuals with relationship issues, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, and social anxiety. I also support clients navigating life transitions, interracial or interfaith relationships, and career concerns.

Outside the counseling room, I enjoy volunteering at a local animal shelter, reading, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with loved ones. These experiences help me stay grounded and enhance the empathy and perspective I bring to my work.
