Sarah Sustaita

Therapist-in-training

If you’re living with chronic pain/illness, anxiety, or carrying the heavy weight of past traumas, you know how isolating it can feel. As someone with lived experience, I see you, and I know what it’s like to grieve the life you thought you’d have, and the parts of yourself that no longer feel possible. You’re not alone—and it makes sense if it feels that way, especially when you’ve had to carry so much on your own.

In sessions, clients often describe me as having an “old soul”—calm, thoughtful, and present. My approach combines mind-body tools, parts work (IFS-informed), and existential reflection to help you feel safer in your body, more connected to your inner child, and more grounded in a sense of meaning.

I recognize that healing is deeply personal, shaped by your beliefs, values, and lived experiences. I’m affirming of all paths—whether religious, spiritual, both, or neither. I have experience working with clients who identify with pagan, earth-based, and/or eclectic practices, and I hold compassionate space for both the healing and the harm that can come from spiritual or religious experiences. I believe that healing isn’t linear, and it is not a destination. Healing doesn’t exist in isolation. We’ll take the journey together—at your pace, and on your terms.
