Hi! My name is Lily and it is such a pleasure to meet you! I am a therapist-in-training with Sol Health, and am currently in the final year of pursuing my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Fordham University. I obtained my Bachelors in Psychology at Rutgers University and have known becoming a therapist and helping others was my end goal ever since. I understand that the therapeutic journey can be daunting at times, but it is my goal to assure you that here you are safe, you are free to be yourself, and you are free to speak your mind without judgment.
My primary experience revolves around working with neurodivergent individuals, specifically those on the Autism Spectrum. I currently work with children that have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and have a true passion for helping individuals with intellectual disabilities. In addition to ASD, my other areas of focus include but are not limited to ADHD, anxiety/panic disorders, PTSD/CPTSD, and sexual trauma, coupled with a focus on the LGBTQ+ population. My therapeutic approach is mainly grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with influences from Feminist, Trauma-Informed, and Multicultural lenses.
My practice is built upon compassion and understanding, and it is my goal to provide you with both of those things throughout our entire journey together. Giving you the space to be able to speak openly without fear is of the utmost importance to me, and together, we will work to get you to where you want to be. Therapy has the potential to not only be a powerful tool, but a beautiful gift as well, and it is my hope that I can help you discover just how transformative the therapeutic process can be. I look forward to meeting you and joining you on this journey!
