Dr. Daniel Gonzalez

Therapist-in-training

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about your next steps? Life can present challenges that feel difficult to face alone. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or significant life transitions, therapy offers a compassionate space for healing and growth. I’m a therapist-in-training with experience treating diverse populations.

I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Together, we focus on your unique strengths, values, and goals, honoring your voice and autonomy every step of the way. My approach is collaborative and grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect, empowering you to create meaningful change.

I am in my final semester of my MA Clinical Mental Health program at Midwestern State University. One area of concentration for me has been school counseling where I focused on treating young adults and adolescents. I earned my BA in English and MA in English Literature and Language from St. Mary's University along with my Ed.D. from the University of Houston. For fun, I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Whether it's a hike, a bike ride, or a road trip, the journey helps us grow.

I know that reaching out for support takes courage, and I’m honored to accompany you on your journey. Whether you’re seeking short-term guidance or longer-term exploration, I’m here to listen and support you. I look forward to our journey together.
